STS-123 Mission General Debriefing -JAXA Astronaut Takao Doi Homecoming Event-

JAXA held the STS-123 (1J/A) Mission General Debriefing at the Tosyo Hall (Tokyo) on May 10, 2008. This event was conducted in a talk-show style. Main speakers of the event were astronaut Takao Doi, Mr. Hidetoshi Togasawa (the Mainichi Newspapers) and Ms. Kaori Manabe (TV talent); Mr. Togasawa acted as the host of the event, and Ms. Manabe served as a good questioner. More than 500 people are in the audience to meet astronaut Doi and listen to his missions.

While astronaut Doi gave details on the STS-123 (1J/A) mission, video movies and photographs that were taken during the mission appeared on the big screen of the hall, and the audience enjoyed each scene along with his speech.

Astronaut Doi also talked about space environment and life in space, which are different from the life on earth, to the people. During the question & answer session at the end of the event, astronaut Doi answered several questions from the audience.
