NASA announced a 48-hour postponement of the launch of Space Shuttle Endeavour's STS-127 mission, scheduled at 7:51 a.m. on July 14, due to unfavorable weather around the NASA Kennedy Space Center.

The delay was due to the thunder clouds near KSC contributing to an unsuitable condition for unlikely event of Endeavour’s emergency landing, as well as to the bad weather around the launch pad.

The launch of Endeavour is now scheduled at 7:03 a.m. on July 16.
